Studies show that children who are not reading at grade level by third grade, are six times more likely to dropout of high school. Manassas City Public Schools tackles this problem head-on, through Footsteps2Brilliance® (F2B), an interactive, bilingual, mobile literacy program that has been proven to increase academic vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking skills in young students.  All residents of the City of Manassas, including homeschool and private school students, can participate free of charge.

The curriculum is available as an app and online, giving every pre-K through third grade student access to hundreds of books, songs, and learning activities. Additionally, the F2B library consists of beautifully written and illustrated e-books, to equally engage book lovers and those who may struggle with reading. Learn more.
